Unfavorable Vulnerability - A Vulnerable condition may occur on one, both, or neither side of the table, depending on the hand in a match.  In Rubber Bridge, the state where the other side has won a singular game.  In both Duplicate and Rubber Bridge, the condition where a game or slam bid and made by the oppositions would receive a higher score, but would incur additional penalties for a failed contract. Unfavorable Vulnerability is also known as Red or "Red versus White" (although this board uses the color black instead of white).  See Details

On this Duplicate board, North/South have unfavorable vulnerability (opponents are "white")

In Rubber Bridge, the scoresheet would show only North/South have made a game (earned 100+ point score in prior game towards Rubber)
