West opens 1N, with South ending up in 4S. West plays three rounds of Hearts. West plays Hearts, South ruffing the third round.  Declarer wins 3 rounds of trump, opponents' discarding Clubs.  South next wins two rounds of Clubs, ruffing the third round in dummy to ensure defenders cannot put declarer on lead using a Club throw-in.

Considering West opened 1 Notrump, declarer can assume West holds the Diamond honors, frustrating a repeated Diamond finesse.  Thus, declarer plays a low Diamond, to West's likely Diamond tenaces, completing the Diamond endplay.
