Limit Plus Raise - A raise of partner's suit that does not have an upper point range.  Example:

Bidding

Meaning

1H - (1S) - 2S

(2H) - X - (P) - (3H)

A cuebid of opponents' suit shows at least a limit raise, obviously forcing and asking opener to further describe holdings.  With a minimum hand, opener will bid 3 of the named suit.  With game interest, opener can bid a new suit.  Another option is bidding Notrump with stoppers.  Depending on partnership agreements, re-cuebidding opponent's suit possibly shows shortage and slam interest, or asking partner to bid 3 Notrump with stopper (Western Cuebid)

1H - (X) - 2N

A 2N response over Right Hand Opponent's double is Jordan 2N, showing at least a limit raise.  See Details

1S - (X) - XX

A redouble shows 10+ points, possibly showing strong game or slam interest, or asking partner to consider penalizing the opposition after follow-up bidding.

1H - (2H) - X

A double after an opponent cuebids partner's suit also shows 10+ points, possibly showing strong game or slam interest, or asking partner to consider penalizing the opposition after follow-up bidding.
