Relays Over Weak 2 Bid - In response to partner or opponents' preemptive weak 2 opening bid, the use of a relay system to further describe the partnership's holdings.  The auction begins with a forcing relay of the responder ("captain") of the cheapest available bid:

First available bid, as: 2H - 2S;

Opener rebids 3H without stopper or cuebid the suit with a stopper.

 

Responder's cheapest bid is forcing, asking responder to further describe hand
 

Any other bid beyond the first step is a signoff, as:
2H - 2N
  or  2H - 2N

All other responder bids are a signoff

Other popular relay systems include Lebensohl over opponents' weak 2 bid, McCabe Adjunct, Rubinsohl, etc.
